Villa Wallner has kept a
constant relationshipwith the past and with the ancient part
of its structure, whose spirit lives once again in the general outline
of the façade as well as in the
aestethic nuances.
The birth of Villa Wallner dates back
to 1557, when
Lattanzio Fiorentino
had the first walls erected.
Between 1500 and '600 the history of the
villa is deeply intermingled with that of the Serego Counts.
During 1800 the complex has been entrusted
to a man that has deeply re-shaped the villa's structure: Michelangelo Smania,
the lawyer who put in the middle of the inner courtyard the magnificent Neptune fountain.
